KP Problems

Why is the doctor that is most difficult to work with, to be seen by, and to make an appointment with... why is the doctor that is most difficult the doctor that holds all the power? Why is my general practitioner such a pain in my ass? Why is my health care provider incapable of providing for my health!?

All of my holistic health practitioners agree, MDs are the worst!

They string you along, make you call back tomorrow to try again to make an appointment... No thank you ma'am, why don't we settle this right now while I am actually speaking with you NOW!?

Kaiser Permanente has this RIDICULOUS policy where normal appointments are only available one month out, but if you have an urgent problem, you can call in the morning to see if there are any same day or next day appointments available, its like a goddamn lottery! Their system is broken and it is because they don't have enough doctors.

I ask to talk to a supervisor with actual power, and get put on hold for 10 minutes, like are trying to see if I will hang up first? The people on the phones lines know nothing and OMG the actual doctors have no concern for your health. They are so over worked.

Why does no one at the appointment center, have permissions to make the appointment I need? You guys are the appointment center, that is all you do, is make appointments. All I need is an appointment, COME ON! Why does making a doctor appointment make me want to cry? I am a strong resilient woman who has been through much worse.

Maybe the fact that my life depends on this and I have NO control over it.
